The Library Goes RIGHT OFF!

Set the scene:

Monday night, after close, Brad and I waited outside work for our other 4 letter name buddies (Erin and Leon) to pick us up. So we sit in the gutter while we wait, like true Wallan kids. Its getting fair late, its cold and cloudy when we spot two figures in the distance...

Grey haired fellows, old obviously, a man and a women. They cross the parking holding hands. We can't hear what there saying so commentating was a must. 'love you babe', 'no i love you babe'. Just for giggles.

Apparently we must have been wrong in our commentating, they must have been thinking much more passionate thoughts. Right before our astonished little faces, the wrinkled frail looking women pushes the old man up against the library wall and starts making out with him. No not a kiss, a full 10 minute make-out seshhh! no exadutration!

TIP OF THE DAY: when in wallan... wear blind-folds

The price of beauty

The price girls have to pay to look beautiful.
I went to a wedding on the weekend. All the chicks spent too much tine getting ready. The caked makeup wasnt suck a good look. Neither was the constant whining about sore feet. I myself had some stupid over the top dress. The kind where its pretty much impossible to wear a bra.

That is why I bought a new "stick on" bra. worst choice ever. I ended up taking it off at the reception because it kept poking out the top of my dress.

I like being lazy. With my biten nails, and my hairband holding back my bed hair, and my smudged eyeliner and mascara coz i didnt take it off. Radio playing on the alarm clock in the kitchen, sun coming through the windows and me stuck to the laptop. sometimes i think these lazy days are a much better, and sometimes even most beautiful time of life.

In saying that my aunty looked beautiful. And I enjoyed being cold and freezing and deaf next to the speakers in the reception. LOL. No, but seriously, the wog dancing was much fun.

Tip of the day: Dont buy a stick on bra! Ladies, those babies are gonna rather be bra-less then to have stupid sticky stuff on your boobs that give no support anyway.

Don't Drink and Dance

So today, christmas eve as it is, I had a date... a very important date with a doctor at sunshine hospital. For anyone who doesn't know, I was lucky enough to break my foot in 2 places the day before Melbourne Cup... I was drunk, angy and I was dancing, need I say more?

Naturally I was estatic. You know, no plaster, means I could do things, like...walk...shower...lolz.

So I had my X-rays and was back with the doc. I could barely keep still as he took my plaster off! And then he turned around grabs this big bulky black thing and straps it onto my leg.

'There you go', he says.

A LEG BRACE? Seriously, please. Its like what bella swan has on her leg, except mine is uglier. Oh, followed by;

'It only cost $100 and you have to wear it for four weeks'

I suppose the message here is Dont Drink and Dance

TIP OF THE DAY: If you plan do the right thing, aka don't drink dance, and plan on drinking Bickfords lime cordial with soda water; OPEN THE SODA WATER SLOWLY if you dont want to be covered in it.

Tinsile of life

Red tinsile sparkles on the wall
Like the lights of london town
Your smile wavers and your charade does fall
It brings you to the ground

Christmas. Finally. The time of love, joy, happiness and family. For the most part, that is what it is for me. However as much as I try to block it out there are also the flashes of memories I wish I could forget. Like my family, the one I 'belonged' to falling apart a the seams, my father refusing to even act happy on christmas or even come and spend it with us - and that was when he still lived with us. Really the memories arn't that bad. But there is no doubt people have much worse christmas memories. I wish I could take it away from them.

More then love; joy, happiness and family; Christmas is about kindness. Because without kindness where is the love, joy and happiness? Kindness. Probably where the whole giving present thing comes in. So adopt the theory. Kindness is the tinsile of life. SMILE, it will make someones day. Donate your time, your energy to the less fortunate. Give a gift of kindness to the world. Volunteer, donate to charity, plant a tree. Im with the red cross, I'm going to give the gift of blood. What are you doing for the world this year?
